World AIDS Day: Getting to Zero through education, empowerment, action

Partnership between TDSB and Stephen Lewis Foundation launched at L'Amoreaux CI

Toronto District School Board,

December 1 is World AIDS Day and the TDSB is helping in the campaign to “get to zero” by partnering with the Stephen Lewis Foundation (SLF), an NGO that assists AIDS/HIV grassroots organizations in Africa. L’Amoreaux CI, one of the schools leading the charge in the fight against AIDS, welcomed SLF Executive Director Ilana Landsberg-Lewis and TDSB officials on World AIDS Day to showcase the work of students and staff there and to hear about the partnership that will provide other schools and students an opportunity to help get to zero.
