Thousands of people are holding events across Canada to raise awareness about the AIDS epidemic and raise funds for the Stephen Lewis Foundation, which supports community-based organizations that are turning the tide of HIV & AIDS in sub-Saharan Africa.

Please join us for a lovely lunch with guest speaker, Dr. Julie Lajoie. Dr. Lajoie will be speaking on Preventing HIV with aspirin: alternative fact or science? Researchers from the University of Manitoba and their collaborators from the University of Nairobi have been trying to develop new methods to prevent HIV infection. By using low dose anti-inflammatory like aspirin, they believe they could have an alternative for women to protect themselves against HIV infection.
