Give a Day

Thank You

Dear Friend,

The Give a Day campaign is once again in full swing in law firms, hospitals and offices throughout the country. Speaker events, auctions, marketplaces, contests and more are being organized to raise funds and awareness. People are spreading the word and joining together to help turn the tide of AIDS in Africa. Give a Night (an evening event organized by articling students) is happening in January, 2018 with over 600 young professionals expected to attend to support the work of the Stephen Lewis Foundation and Dignitas International. With over $4.5 million raised for Give a Day by you since 2005, we’re anticipating another exciting and successful year!

As the campaign moves ahead, we wanted to say thank you: for the awareness you raise, for the donations you make, and for your enormous contributions to the work being done by communities at the frontlines of the AIDS epidemic in Africa. Work that couldn’t happen without the support of people like you.

At community level — where the work of keeping people alive, living positively and reaching beyond the devastation of AIDS is thriving — community organizations are at the heart of the response, and have become the experts on what it takes to restore lives and reclaim hope. Increasingly, this community-based response to the AIDS epidemic has become about so much more than meeting basic needs; it has become a process of cultivating resilience and claiming rights.

We wish you all the very best for your 2017 Give a Day campaign!

Thank you for your commitment and support.
